Other areas have reported individuals impersonating water utility employees, asking to test resident’s water pressure and requesting to enter homes. Augusta Water employees will NEVER ask to enter your residence or ask for money. Each employee has Augusta Water apparel and will be in an Augusta Water vehicle with "Local Government" tags. Fees
With the exception of tire disposal, residents of Augusta County, Staunton, and Waynesboro may utilize the Augusta Regional landfill for free. Tire disposal fees are below.
Businesses are charged a tipping fee based on the actual tonnage of waste disposed of.
